Reliable support source

I've used Share Well for over a year now, mainly for their Relationship Support Groups. This latest experience was consistent with my previous ones. The groups are always well-run, and the confidentiality is maintained. It's a reliable platform for what it offers. I keep coming back because it's a safe, non-judgmental place to talk.

Solid groups, minor tech issue

I signed up for the Grief and Loss Group after a friend recommended Share Well. The content was genuinely helpful, and the other participants were supportive. I appreciate the focus on confidentiality. The group facilitator handled everything professionally. My only small gripe was that the video connection glitched out for about 30 seconds once during a session, but it reconnected quickly. Overall, a good experience and worth it for the value.

Good peer support

I joined an Anxiety Support Group recently. The sign-up process was straightforward, and I found a session within a day. The facilitator was great, kept things moving, and created a safe space. I felt heard, which is what I needed.

If I get the unlimited membership, can I cancel it easily? Or am I locked into a contract?

B Beth H. 2 months ago
You can cancel anytime, I think. Pretty standard for these subscription services.

Yeah, you're not locked in. I cancelled my monthly one for a bit then re-subscribed later, no problem. Just make sure you do it before your next billing cycle if you don't want to be charged.

I'm interested in the annual plan to save money. Do they offer a free trial for that, or just for the basic free access?

T Troy P. 2 months ago
Usually, the free trial is for the 'Unlimited' membership, which is what the annual plan would be for. So you can try it out.

N Nina R. 2 months ago
Yeah, you can usually do a 7-day free trial first. That'll let you see if the unlimited access is worth it before you commit to an annual plan. It's a good way to test the waters.

Does anyone know if they do student discounts for ShareWell Unlimited? My budget's kinda tight right now.

C Carly L. 2 months ago
I think I saw something about a student discount. Might be worth checking their site or just asking support directly.

Yeah, they definitely have a student discount! My friend used one last semester to get the unlimited subscription. Also heard they do something for healthcare workers too.

What kind of topics do they even cover? Just general anxiety stuff?

D Dana S. 2 months ago
Nah, way more than just anxiety. They have groups for grief, relationships, even career stress. Pretty wide range.

They have a bunch. Like, I've seen groups for LGBTQ+ support, chronic illness, even parenting. So yeah, definitely not just general anxiety, you can usually find something pretty specific.

I'm looking into this vs. something like BetterHelp. How's ShareWell different? Is it more group-focused?

M Mia 2 months ago
It's super different from BetterHelp. ShareWell is all about peer support groups and workshops. Not one-on-one therapy with a licensed therapist.

T Todd Marsh 2 months ago
Totally different vibe. BetterHelp is therapy, ShareWell is more like community support. You're connecting with others who get it, often with a facilitator, but it's not a therapist. It's confidential though, which is good.
